July 04, 2011 Stingrays Turn Back Piranhas Living up it its billing, this year’s Cross Plains- Sun Prairie meet proved to be the slugfest many expected. Whether it was the excitement of swimming in their home pool for the first time this season........ Click here to read the full story June 15, 2011 The Stingrays are going to Noah's Ark again this year on June 24th. We will be taking a bus from practice at 9:45 and returning about 6:00. The cost this year for the entrance into Noah's Ark, a hot dog lunch, and the bus ride is $25 per person. Any child 10 and under is required to have a chaperon. I will have sign up slips at the pool starting Monday, June 13th. The permission slips and money need to be turned in to the Virnig folder no later than Tues, June 21st. June 13, 2011 Stingrays Take Opener from Mazomanie Every so often, we get great weather for the Stingray season opener. By all accounts, 2011 wasn’t one of those years. Cross Plains Repeats As Tri-County Champs! Every eight years, the Cross Plains Stingrays get their opportunity to host the annual Tri-County Conference swim meet and show the rest of the conference how it’s done. This year, after more than a year of preparation by Jay Lengfeld and the numerous Stingray parents, they did just that. Not only did Cross Plains roll out the red carpet and run a great meet, but they swam away with the 2009 conference championship as well.....
